ICAI removes names of 3994 members for Non-Payment of Fees

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) has removed the names of 3994 Members for Non-Payment of Fees via issuing Notification.

The Notification Stated as, “In pursuance of Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20(1) (c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has removed from the Register of Members of this Institute with effect from 1st January 2021 on account of non-payment of prescribed fees.”
