ICAI Seeks Suggestions on Proposed Scheme of Education and Training

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) is Seeking Suggestions on Proposed Scheme of Education and Training.

We are pleased to announce that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has given its in-principle approval to the proposed Education and Training Scheme. Special characteristics are incorporated in the aforementioned scheme at each level of theoretical CA course education, as well as in the plan of practical training, soft skills, and information technology training. The assessment technique is also being changed to allow for a more accurate assessment of professional competence at each step of CA education. Furthermore, foreign curriculum is planned to be included in the new programme in order for the chartered accountancy profession to have a global reach.

The detailed questionnaire may be found at the link below, where you can give your thoughtful replies to the various features that will be introduced:

We eagerly await your replies on various points so that we can take them into account as we move forward with the scheme.
