ICAI strucks name of CA for Non-payment of Membership Fees
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) has strucked the name of CA for Non-payment of Membership Fees via issuing Notification.
The Notification Stated as, "In pursuance of Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20(1) (c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has removed the name of person from the Register of Members of this Institute with effect from 16/03/2018 on account of non - payment of prescribed fees."
