ICAI to Provide Foreign Language Courses to Students and CA Members To help Chartered Accountants (CA) professionals adapt to global markets, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) offers foreign language courses for its students and members in Spanish, German, Japanese, Business English, and French. The ICAI, through its Committee for Development of International Trade, Services, and WTO, is organising these courses in collaboration with foreign embassies in India's various language and cultural centres. "With an outstanding pace and size of innovation in the globe for completing various financial and non-financial activities, in the present day, CA professionals are being graded on a specific trait i.e. "adaptability to change," according to the ICAI. A truly global operating model is being adopted by an increasing number of Indian enterprises and accounting professionals as it provides the groundwork for long-term success in the globalisation era. "By learning competence in the language of communication for businesses, CA members and students may add value to their technical expertise, and engage with and serve their foreign clients better," says Dr. Debashis Mitra, President of ICAI. According to an official release issued on Monday, the ICAI has inked an MoU with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) to promote Commerce Education among students in the Union Territory. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked for a period of five years during an outreach meeting with Kashmir valley authorities, it added. "Commerce education is critical to the inclusive growth of industry and the economy as a whole. With a great pool of talent in Kashmir, young students must be properly developed so that the next generation may contribute to the nation and society via their knowledge and abilities "According to Sources.
