ICAI to Setup Two New Branches; Check Details of the Branches
The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India(ICAI) notifies the setting up of a Branch of Central India Regional Council in Bhagalpur (Bihar) & Hanumangarh District (Rajasthan) Vide Notification No. 1-CA (7)/202/2022 & No. 1-CA (7)/203/2022 dated 6th June 2022 with effect from 19th May 2022 and 20th May 2022 respectively.
The Notification is Given Below:
No. 1-CA (7)/202/2022.—In pursuance of the Regulation 159 (1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify the setting up of a Branch of Central India Regional Council in Bhagalpur (Bihar) with effect from 19th May, 2022.
The Branch shall be known as Bhagalpur Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Head Quarter shall be at Bhagalpur (Bihar). The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Bhagalpur city, include the following cities/towns falling within a radius of 50 kms from the municipal limits of Bhagalpur: -
1. Banka
2. Jamalpur
3. Kahalgaon
4. Munger
5. Naugachia
As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council through Central India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council.

No. 1-CA (7)/203/2022.— In pursuance of the Regulation 159 (1A) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify the setting up of a Branch of Central India Regional Council in Hanumangarh District (Rajasthan) with effect from 20th May, 2022. The Branch shall be known as Hanumangarh District Branch, of Central India Regional Council and its Head Quarter shall be at Hanumangarh District. The Jurisdiction of the Branch besides the following Places shall cover whole District of Hanumangarh:- 1. Norhar 2. Bhadra 3. Pilibanga 4. Rawatsar 5. Sangeria 6. Tibbi As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council through Central India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council.CA.
