ICAI will release the new schedule of CA Exams today
The CA students are desperately waiting for the New CA Schedule of CA Exams. The reason for this is that there is a possibility that the Examination Committee may reschedule the May 2024 CA Examination as the General Lok Sabha Election dates overlap the current examination schedule.
Now as the new Lok Sabha Election Dates are out, it is almost confirmed the CA Exams 2024 are set to be Postponed as dates of elections are clashing with examination dates. The CA Exams that are going to be held on the 7th and 13th of May are clashing with the Election Dates. Either, ICAI will entirely change the whole schedule of CA Exams to next month or only change the overlapping dates.
ICAI will announce the revised schedule for the CA May exams today i.e. 19th March evening. Once the Schedule is released, the new schedule will be available at the official website.
The decision to change the exam schedule came after the Election Commission released the schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha elections on Saturday.
The Election Commission has announced the schedule of the Election to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April - June 2024. It is observed that the aforementioned Lok Sabha Election, which will be held in 7 phases, will commence from 19th April 2024 and conclude on 1st June 2024. Counting for all phases will be done on 4th June 2024.
With this in mind, the ICAI will release a new timetable for May 2024 examinations.
Current Schedule of CA Exams:
Group 1’s CA Inter examinations are set for May 3, 5, and 7 and Group 2’s on May 9, 11, and 13. An estimated 4,36,500 students have registered for the 2024 May/June exam.
