ICFRE Recruitment 2022: Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) is inviting applications for the post of Junior Project Consultant and Project Associate post on a contractual basis of Six (06) months. According to the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2022, there are 03 vacancies for these posts.
The walk-in interview will be held on 22.12.2022 at 11:00 am at the office chamber of Asst. Director General (EM), ICFRE (Room No. 137, ICFRE H. Q. Building, Forest Research Institute Campus, Dehradun).

Junior Project Consultant:
First class Master’s degree with 05 years of experience or Ph. D. in the field of Environmental Science having more than 03 years of working experience in the field of environmental pollution in the case of mining projects. OR First-class M. Tech. in Mining with 3 years’ work experience in the mining field.
The candidate who has work experience in air, noise, and water quality monitoring, analysis of data and report writing. Willingness to conduct field tours to collect data from remote areas. Knowledge of relevant legislation of EIA and preparation of EIA/EMP report. Knowledge of working with Computer and statistical tools etc. will be preferable
Project Associate:
First class Master’s degree in Botany with experience in Taxonomy of Plant species for a period of 5 years. Candidates having a Ph. D. Degree in the subject of Plant Taxonomy with 03-year of experience will be preferred.
First class Master’s degree with 05 years of experience or Ph. D. in the field of Ecology and Biodiversity having more than 03 years of working experience in the relevant field in case of developmental projects.
The candidate who has the willingness to travel including fieldwork to collect data, carry out desk-based research, interpretation of data and experience in EIA/EMP report writing. Knowledge of working with Computers and statistical tools etc. will be preferable.
According to the official notification of the ICFRE Recruitment 2022, the upper age limit for Junior Project Consultant is 65 years and for Project Associate is 35 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PH and 3 years for OBC as per ICFRE/Govt. of India Rules. The criteria for selection of the candidate may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of the management. The duration of the engagement period may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

All interested Candidates applying for the above-mentioned post have to submit a scanned copy of their resume in the prescribed format as available on the ICFRE website along with self-attested copies of testimonials and a recent passport-size photograph pasted with their signed application through e-mail at [email protected] on or before 16.12.2022 positively for prior screening.
Applications received after 16.12.2022 will not be entertained. Candidates are required to mention the mode of their Walk-in-Interview in their application form.
After the prior screening, the eligible candidates will be communicated through e-mail in advance to appear for Walk-in-Interview before the actual date of the interview.
All eligible candidates appearing for Walk-in-Interview in person shall report on 22.12.2022 by 9.30 AM at the office of ADG (EM) at ICFRE H.Q. Room No.137, Dehradun with their complete and signed Biodata and Original Testimonials.
