ICFRE Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), a part of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, is looking for suitable individuals for the positions of Junior Project Fellows (JPFs), Project Assistants (PAs) and Field Assistants (FAs). As mentioned in the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2023, applicants would be chosen based on a walk-in-interview at Forest Biodiversity, (IFB), Dulapally, Kompally (S.O.), Hyderabad, Telangana-500100. The hiring will be made on a strictly temporary basis for four (04) available positions that will run concurrently with the project duration or until the completion of the eligible time under ICFRE guidelines. The candidate must have completed a postgraduate degree in M.Sc. from a recognized institution or institute.
As mentioned in the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2023, the selected individual would be paid a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs.17,000 to 20,000. The available position is temporary and will end with the completion of the project, as stated in the official announcement. The maximum age restriction is 28 years as of 01.06.23, which is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC applicants. According to the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates should have the following experience and qualifications.
For Junior Project Fellows(JPFs)
Applicants should have M.Sc. in Soil Science/ Environmental Science/ Forestry /Botany/Agriculture from a recognised university. He/she should have good knowledge of Computers and proficiency intermediate in MS Office.
For Project Assistant(PA)
Candidates should have B.Sc. (Biology, Zoology, Chemistry, Agriculture & Forestry) with adequate experience of working in relevant Research Projects.
For Field Assistant(FA)
The candidates should have 10+2 (Biological Science) from a recognised institute with hands-on experience in field data collection, maintenance of field and computing terms.
