ICFRE Recruitment 2023: Tropical Forest Research Institute, under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), is inviting applications for the engagement of Junior Project Fellow /Junior Research Fellow on a temporary basis. As per the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the total number of vacancies is six (06). The hiring will be made through a scheduled walk-in interview. The shortlisted candidates will be offered a monthly salary subject to the stated project works which ranges between Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000. The candidates applying for this post should have a degree of M.Sc. in Forestry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Life Science, Plant Genetics, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences from a recognised university.
As per the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow is 28 years as of 1st June 2023. Relaxable for up to 5 years for candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC categories. The eligible and interested candidates must appear for a walk-in interview in the Director’s Office along with their applications, which must include full bio-data, including address for communication, attested copies of degree/certificates, and one passport size photograph, among other things, which may be produced at the time of interview. There will be no TA/DA paid for attending the interview. Registration will take place between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. after 10:30 a.m., no entry will be granted.

Candidates should have the following eligibilities based on different projects.
For Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (ICFRE- TERI Jabalpur)- Candidates should possess a full-time M.Sc. in Forestry/Agriculture/Horticulture/Life Science/Plant Genetics with a Specialization in Plant breeding, Research Experience related to the subject area relevant to the project, and Knowledge of biostatistics.
For Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (ICFRE-Skill Development Centre, Chhindwara)- Candidates should have M.Sc. in Forestry/Agriculture/ Biochemistry/Biological Sciences. He/she should have experience in performing experimental work in the laboratory and field, handling lab instruments with basic knowledge of computers.
