Essential Qualifications for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the candidates should have the following qualifications for the aforementioned posts:

For Project Project Scientist-I (Non-Medical),

• Candidates should have 1st Class BE or B-Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science or Information Technology
  OR
• Candidates should have a 1st-class postgraduate degree in biostatistics, Public population studies, bioinformatics, GIS and remote sensing, including an integrated PG degree
  OR
• Candidates should have a 2nd-class postgraduate degree in biostatistics, Public health, Population studies, bioinformatics, GIS and remote sensing with a Ph.D. in a relevant subject from a recognized University

Desirable:

• Candidates must have Good Knowledge of handling statistical tools (R, STATA Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, Python, etc.)
• Candidates must have web development experience
• Candidates must have good Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
• Candidates must have Strong analytical knowledge and experience in handling large datasets, especially those related to community
• Candidates must have Experience in machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence (AI)
• A publication record that demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis, and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases
• The ability to understand and interpret complex research and scientific projects and to communicate key messages to specialists and non-specialist audiences
• A willingness to travel for meetings and events.
• Research experience in parasitology, epidemiology and surveillance of infectious diseases

For Project Technical Support-III

• Candidates should have 1st Class BE or B-Tech degree of 4 years of experience in Computer Science / Information Technology and three years of experience in the relevant field
  OR
• Candidates should have a Graduate degree in biostatistics, / Public Health /Population studies/ Bioinformatics/ GIS and remote sensing and three years of relevant experience or PG in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/Bioinformatics/GIS and remote sensing.

Desirable:

• Candidates must have strong analytical knowledge and experience in handling large datasets.
• Candidates must have Knowledge of raster data, satellite data, and LULC data
• Candidates must have Knowledge of handling statistical software (Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, R, STATA, Python, etc.)
• A willingness to travel for meetings and events

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will get the following salary:

For Project Scientist-I (Non-Medical):

• The selected candidate will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 56,000 plus 27% HRA

Project Technical Support-III:

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 28,000 plus 27% HRA.
