ICMR Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is seeking applications from medical/non-medical professionals for the employment of Project Associate (I – II), Project Field Worker, Project Lab Assistant, and Project Field Assistant. As stated in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023. The total number of vacancies is six (06) to be fulfilled under the project “Assessment based on metabolomics approach among 25-64 years urban slum pollution in Hyderabad, Telangana, India”. Candidates will be shortlisted through a scheduled walk-in interview to be placed on 4th October 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Candidates will be employed for a one-year engagement period on a contractual basis, which may be extended to the institution’s norms. The maximum age limit of eligible and interested candidates will be considered between 28 to 35 years.
According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official announcement, candidates who are shortlisted for the posts mentioned above will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs.35,000 with HRA@27% p.m. The interested and eligible candidates must reach the walk-in interview at the Conference Hall & Committee Room, ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad on the scheduled date between 9:30 am to 11:30 am. As stated in the attached official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for eligible and interested candidates will be determined by the following age criteria.
According to the official ICMR Recruitment 2023 notice, candidates will be appointed possessing the following experience and qualifications.
For Project Associate (II)
Essential: Applicants should have post-graduation (M.Sc/ MSW) in any field of Bioscience or Social Work from a recognized university.
Desirable: Applicant should have two years of experience in Community Studies.
For Project Associate (I)
Essential: Candidates should have graduated in Nutrition/ Anthropology/ Sociology from a recognized university.
Desirable: Applicant should have a postgraduate in respective subjects.
For Project Field Worker
Essential: Candidates should have passed 12th in Science Subject and two years diploma in MLT.
Desirable: Applicants should have experience in community studies for at least one year.
For Project Lab Assistant
Essential: Candidates should hold a graduate degree in Science with MLT or equivalent from a recognized university with five years of experience.
Desirable: Applicants should have experience in blood sample collection, processing, labelling and analysis.
For Project Field Assistant
Essential: Candidates should have a high school pass with five years of experience in related fields.
Desirable: Candidates should have experience of one year in a related field in carrying out community studies.
As given in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, candidates will be offered a monthly salary depending on the following terms.

For Project Field Worker
Candidates will be required to assist lab assistants in blood draws, transport levelling and analysis, data entry, and assisting in the field.
For Project Lab Assistant
Candidates will be offered full-time fieldwork jobs.
For Project Field Assistant
The candidate will be liable to serve the organisation by assisting as a lab assistant in blood collection, transport under the cold chain, labelling, centrifuging and entering the data in the computer.
