The ICMR-NIE is looking for suitable candidates for the roles of Technical Assistant (Group B, Level 6) and Laboratory Attendant (Group C, Level 1). There are 47 open positions for the aforementioned positions.

Qualification for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for ICMR Recruitment 2023.

Technical Assistant (Networking)-

• Candidates must have done 1st class three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science/Information Technology from a recognized University OR 1st Class three-year Engg. Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized Institute with two years relevant experience in the Network Administration Field OR 1st Class Engineering/ Technology in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University.

Technical Assistant (Laboratory)- 

• Candidates must have done 1st Class three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University.

Technical Assistant (Communication)-

• Candidates must have done 1st Class three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Mass/ Visual Communication/ Advertising/Design from a recognized University.

Laboratory Attendant-1 (Laboratory)-

• Candidates must be class 10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board plus one year of working experience in a Govt. recognized/ approved/ registered Lab.

Laboratory Attendant-1 (Plumber)-

• Candidates must be class 10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board plus one year of working experience in Plumbing in a Govt. recognized/ approved/ registered Organization OR ITI in Plumber/ trade certificate in Plumber issued by Govt. agencies.

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

The age restrictions for ICMR Recruitment 2023 are given below-

For Technical Assistant (Group-B, Level-6)-

• The maximum age limit is 30 years.

For Laboratory Attendant-1 (Group-C, Level-1)- 

• The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 25 years.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will get a salary of up to Rs. 112400 per month.

For Technical Assistant (Group-B, Level-6)-

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in level 06 of the pay matrix i.e. between Rs. 35400 to Rs. 112400.

For Laboratory Attendant-1 (Group-C, Level-1)- 

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in level 01 of the pay matrix i.e. between Rs. 18000 to Rs. 56900.

Application Fee for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for ICMR Recruitment 2023 have to pay the application fee as mentioned below-

• For All other categories- Rs. 300 is the application fee. Candidates have to pay the application fee by using Debit/Credit Card / Net Banking.

Scheduled Caste (SC), Schedules Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

Tenure for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the appointment is for a duration of two years.
