ICMR Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Medical Statistics, under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) New Delhi, accepts applications for the engagement of various positions through a Walk-In-Interview selection procedure. The total number of vacancies is 29 vacancies. As per the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for the post of Consultant (Medical), Scientist B (Non-Medical), Research Assistant, Technical III, Health Assistant, and Data Entry Operator. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs.70,000 across all positions. The age range of eligible candidates will not be less than 28 years and not more than 70 years. The employment of interested and qualified professionals will be for a one-year period that can be extended based on the performance of recruited employees and the demands of the requirement. Candidates selected for the position of Tehnician-III and Health Assistant will be assigned to work in the lab, with x-rays, data entry, and other field-related tasks, as well as sample collecting, processing, and other studies.
As per the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be appointed for Shivpuri, Morena, and Bhind Districts of Madhya Pradesh, and ICMR-NIMS (Ansari Nagar, New Delhi) locations. ICMR reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time and for any reason. The candidates are requested to appear in the scheduled interview with all demanded documents in prescribed formats, failing which, no candidates will not be entitled to post-selection. The candidates willing to get hired for the post of Technician-III, Health Assistant, Consultant, and Research Assistant are requested to join the scheduled interview at Office of Regional Director Health Services, First Floor, State Institute of Management & Communication, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh-474002 on 23rd and 24th August before 10:00 am. However, the candidates interested in Scientist-B (Non-Medical) and DEO posts must reach to ICMR-NIMS (Ansari Nagar, New Delhi) on 01.09.2023 at 10:00 am. Candidates should bring a completed application in the approved format, a current passport-size photograph, originals as well as photocopies of certificates and papers, and other testimonials to support their claim of expertise.

As per the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be shortlisted based on the following eligibilities.
For Consultant (Medical)
The candidates should have MBBS, BAMS, and BHMS degrees with six months of R&D experience.
For Scientist B (Non-Medical)
The candidates should have a degree in Statistics/ Population Studies/ Social Science from a recognized university with two year’s work research experience.
For Research Assistant
The candidates should have a Graduate degree from a recognized university with three years of work experience in community-level surveys.
