Attention Students!

Clarification regarding “Opt-Out Facility”

Institute has received various queries from students regarding “Opt-Out Facility” given to carry forward from Dec 2020 to June 2021 exam session vide Announcement issued dated 20th December 2020. In view of the above, it is clarified that opt-out/ partial opt-out option shall be provided to all students as per details given in Institute’s Announcement dated 20th December 2020. The said facility shall not be available to a student who has appeared in all the papers for all the modules for which he/she is enrolled. For more clarity, the same is illustrated in the table given below:

		Not appeared in all papers of both modules or appeared in few papers but not completing any of the module entirely	Can Opt-Out for both modules
3	Three modules	Appeared in all papers of the three modules	Not eligible
		Appeared in all papers of any one module completely	Eligible to take opt-out for other two modules (in which not appeared) Or Can Opt-Out for all three modules
		Appeared in all papers of any two modules completely	Eligible to take opt-out for other module (in which not appeared) Or Can Opt-Out for all three modules
		Not appeared in all papers of all three modules or appeared in few papers but not completing any of the module entirely	Can Opt-Out for all three modules
