ICSI extends due date for Compulsory Switchover in New Training Structure
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has notified Temporary Extension for another period of six months i.e. upto 31st December 2023 for compulsory switchover in New training structure.
This has reference to the Institute announcement dated 23rd March 2023, pursuant to which students under Earlier/Modified Training Structures were given the final opportunity to complete remaining parts of training and the introduction of Compulsory Switchover to the New Training Structure w.e.f. 01st July 2023.
The Institute has decided to temporarily extend the compulsory switchover in New Training Structure for another period of six months i.e. upto 31st December 2023.
It is clarified that the students who are unable to complete the requirement of short term trainings under earlier/ modified training structure so far, many complete their remaining trainings upto 31st December 2023.
New Training Structure
ICSI has issued new guidelines for CS Articleship 2022 based on the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. These new restrictions has became effective from February 3, 2021. The new training structure is in accordance with Regulations 46BA and 46BB of the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020.About Author
