The candidates’ seating arrangements must be shown on the notice board at the Examination Centre’s entrance. At the Examination hall/room, candidates’ roll numbers will be written against the seats assigned to them. They should only sit in their assigned seats.

If a situation arises prior to the Examination or during the Examination’s validity period that necessitates a special seating arrangement on medical grounds, the candidate may submit his/her application to the Joint Secretary, Directorate of Examinations, along with copies of supporting documents, for consideration. The Examination Centre may not provide any services, including unusual seating arrangements, without the Institute’s consent.

Candidates are not required to attend in any of the papers for which they have been awarded paper-wise exemption, as indicated on their Admit Card and Attendance Sheet. The exemption(s) listed on the Admit Card must correspond to the exemption(s) listed on the Attendance Sheet. If there is a discrepancy between the paper-wise exemption(s) shown on the Admit Card and the exemption(s) appearing on the Attendance Sheet, it should be brought to the attention of the Institute’s Superintendent of Examination Centre and Directorate of Student Services in writing through our support portal http://support.icsi.edu for clarification and confirmation. Exemption from any paper(s) of the Examination should not be presumed until the Institute confirms it in writing.

The paper-by-paper exemption in any paper(s) of the Examination, once requested by the candidate and granted by the Institute, remains valid and is printed on his/her Admit Card (Roll No.) and taken into account for the computation of his/her results unless it is cancelled by the student by submitting a formal request to the Institute at the online portal https://smash.icsi.edu/ after logging into the individual account of the students. Exemptions that have been revoked at the request of a student will not be reinstated under any circumstances. Candidates who met the eligibility requirements under the 60 percent mark criteria were awarded exemption(s) in the corresponding papers, which were documented on the Admit Card and the Attendance Sheet. Students’ individual accounts at https://smash.icsi.edu/ can also check the status of applicable exemptions.

Furthermore, if such candidates appear in any paper despite the exemption granted as displayed on the Admit Card, the exemption will be revoked without notice by the Institute and will not be reinstated under any circumstances.
