ICSI issues Draft SOP for Investigation and Related Activities

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has issued a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Investigation and Related Activities in reference to members of the ICSI.

ICSI is pleased to inform you that a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) outlining the procedures to be adopted by police and other law enforcement agencies during the investigation, search, seizure, interrogation, detention and arrest of members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, has been submitted to the Competent Authority for review and approval.

This SOP is designed to ensure a clear, standardized process and safeguard the rights of all members and is a crucial step towards ensuring transparency, protecting the rights of our members and fostering fairness in all related processes.

Once it receives the formal approval from the Competent Authority, all members will be duly informed of its implementation and the specific guidelines to be followed.
