ICSI Submits Follow-Up Representation to MCA, Seeks Resolution of 17 Key Issues to Improve MCA-21 Compliance:

ICSI has urged the MCA to review and resolve 17 representations concerning corporate compliance, MCA-21, NCLT matters and other stakeholder issues to ease doing business.
ICSI Calls for Swift Resolution of 17 Pending Representations Before MCA

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has issued a representation dated August 20, 2026, to Dr Pallavi Jain Govil, the honourable Secretary of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, as a follow-up to its various representations submitted by ICSI.
At the beginning of the representation, the ICSI emphasised the fact that it has submitted several representations to the ministry in the past, where the difficulties faced by stakeholders were flagged along with possible measures that can be taken to facilitate compliance and enhance the MCA-21 portal.
As of now, the ICSI has submitted the following representations to the ministry in relation to the aforementioned concern:

At the end of the representation, ICSI urged the ministry to kindly review all these aforesaid representations at once and work on resolving these issues in the interest of the stakeholders as soon as possible to ease doing business in the country. Also stated that in case they want any additional information or clarification regarding this subject, they can let them know. The ICSI will be pleased to disclose any information in this context.
