• Candidates should have been qualified for the GATE exam at any time.

For Ph.D. in Sciences-

Physics

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in physics, applied physics, or material science (First class with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CGPA ≥ 6.5 (out of 10) in UG and PG) Should have been qualified in the GATE/CSIR-NET exam at any time.

Mathematics

• The candidate should have a degree of M.Sc. in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or equivalent with a good academic record and should have been qualified in the GATE/CSIR-NET exam at any time.
