As per IIM Recruitment 2023 Notification, Candidate applying for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade-I) should have FPM or Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline, with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record. Candidate have at least 3 years of experience in industrial/research/teaching experience the experience gained while perusing FPM/Ph.D. Candidate who have experience of having taught in IITs/IIMs shall be preferred. successful track Record of teaching, training, research and publication in reputed peer-reviewed journals and the candidates having Ph.D. degree from premier foreign universities will be given special preference.
Candidate applying for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade-II) should have Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the discipline, with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record. Candidate having a successful track record of teaching, training, research and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
Candidate applying for Associate Professor should have FPM or Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline, with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record. Candidate have minimum 6 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research experience of which at least 3 years of experience. Experience gained during perusing FPM/Ph.D. would not be counted.
Candidate applying for the post of Professor should have Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the discipline, with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record. Candidate must have minimum 10 year’s experience in which at least 4 years of experience at the level of Associate Professor in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/NITIE Mumbai/IISERs. Candidate having a successful track record of teaching, training, research and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
The upper age limit for applying the above mentioned post is 35 years.
As per the for IIM Recruitment notification, the post-wise pay level are mentioned below:
Assistant Professor (Grade-I)– Level-12 (Rs. 101500 per month) + usual allowance as per GoI norms.
Assistant Professor (Grade-II)– On Contract Essential
Associate Professor– Level 13 A2 (Rs. 139600 per month) + usual allowance as per GoI norms.
Professor- Level 14A (Rs. 159100 per month) + usual allowance as per GoI norms.
