IISC Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of System Engineer-I, System Engineer II and Senior System Engineer – II on a contract basis. As per the IISC Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 10 Vacancies. Selected candidates for the post of System Engineer will be appointed for a tenure of 02 years and the candidates selected for the post of Senior System Engineer will be appointed for a tenure of 04 years.

Candidates applying for HPC System Administration Services should have BE/BTech in CS/IT/EE/ECE/ME/equivalent / MCA / M.Sc. (CS) and the candidates applying for the Infrastructure Management should have BE/BTech.
Mention below is the qualification required for IISC Recruitment 2023:
System Engineer-I
No work experience is required. However, familiarity with Programming and Linux is expected for the HPC System Administration Services category.
System Engineer-II
Candidates applying for HPC System Administration Services should have 2 years of work experience of having worked with Linux systems and familiarity with Programming are required. Work experience in managing Linux systems is desirable.
Candidates applying for Infrastructure Management should have
Electrical infrastructure: 2 years of relevant work experience in Electrical Infrastructure management including some of the following: DGs, UPSes, power distribution components, and other electrical components.
Mechanical infrastructure: 2 years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Infrastructure management including some of the following: Chillers, AHUs, HVACs, etc.
Senior System Engineer – II
Candidates should have 8 years of relevant work experience in Electrical Infrastructure management including some of the following: management of transformers, electrical substation HT and LT Scada-controlled panels, DGs, UPSes, power distribution components, automation and control, motor controls, and other electrical components. Relevant experience carried out in data centers is highly desirable.

System Engineer-I

System Engineer-II

Senior System Engineer – II

System Engineer-I
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 25000.
System Engineer-II
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 28000.
Senior System Engineer – II
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 49000.
Selected candidates for the post of System Engineer will be appointed for a tenure of 02 years and the candidates selected for the post of Senior System Engineer will be appointed for a tenure of 04 years.
Candidates will be selected through a written test followed by a personal interview. The candidates meeting the cut-off marks will be called for an interview.
