Tenure- The appointment is for a period of 1 year and may be extendable to four more years with an annual increment of 3% – 5% depending upon requirements of the Institute and satisfactory performance.

Age Limit for IISc Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of IISc recruitment 2023, there is no age limit.

Salary for IISc Recruitment 2023:

For Senior Editorial Manager- Rs. 70000 to Rs. 75000.

For Senior Editorial Assistant- Rs. 45000 to Rs. 50000.

Qualification for IISc Recruitment 2023:

For Senior Editorial Manager-

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in journalism, writing/science writing, editing and
  copyediting/publishing, with a portfolio of published articles aimed at a general audience.
• Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills, proficiency in computer software and tools.

For Senior Editorial Assistant-

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrate experience in science writing or journalism, editing, and copyediting content for web and print publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organisational skills.

Selection Procedure for IISc Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of qualification and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
