IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023: Check Posts, Eligibility, and Interview Details
IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati is inviting applications from willing and qualified candidates for the Posts of Associate Project Engineer (IT Programmer/ Database specialist), Assistant Project Engineer and Project Fellow in the project entitled, “Sedimentation and morphological study of rivers Dibang and Siang” at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati.
According to the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 Notification, applications are invited for a Walk-interview for the above-mentioned Project positions. The interview details will be as given below:
Date of Interview: 24th Feb 2023 (Friday)
Time of Interview: 10:00 AM onwards
Venue: Conference Hall, Civil Engineering Department
Based on the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, applications are invited for the following positions. There are a total of 06 vacancies for the given posts in total.
1. Associate Project Engineer (IT Programmer/ Database specialist) – 01
2. Assistant Project Engineer – 03
3. Project Fellow – 02
According to the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidates should have the following Educational Qualification:
1. For Associate Project Engineer (IT Programmer/ Database specialist):
The eligible candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and communication engineering/ computer science engineering
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and communication engineering/computer science engineering with 3 years of experience in similar projects. OR Persons with a civil engineering backgrounds with experience in database management will also be considered.
2. For Assistant Project Engineer
Essential:
The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Desirable:
The eligible candidate should hold experience in similar projects.
3. For Project Fellow
The eligible candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
OR
A diploma in civil engineering with experience in similar projects can also apply.
As per the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the eligible candidates would be appointed under the Pay Scale, as follows:
For Associate Project Engineer (IT Programmer/ Database specialist):
The selected candidate will be placed at the Pay Scale 35000 – 1400 – 49000.
For Assistant Project Engineer:
The selected candidate will be placed at the Pay Scale 28500 – 1350 – 42000
For Project Fellow:
The selected candidate will be placed at the Pay Scale 23500 – 1000 – 33500
For Associate Project Engineer (IT Programmer/ Database Specialist) –
The candidate selected for the given post shall be appointed for a duration of 6 Months
For Assistant Project Engineer/ Project Fellow Post:
The selected candidate will be appointed for a duration of 11 Months.
As per the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 Notification, candidates have to appear to Walk in Interview on 24th Feb 2023 at 10.00 AM along with an application /CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., E-mail, etc., and submit photocopies of relevant documents and 2 copies of passport size photos at the time of the interview.
Note: Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately
