IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is seeking applications from eligible and qualified candidates for the posts of SRF (DIRECT), Project Engineer, Associate Project Engineer, Project Scientist, Associate Project Scientist and Laboratory Attendant. There are 11 vacant seats available for the aforementioned posts. The period of the appointment is 11 months.

For SRF (DIRECT):
Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate in ProfessionalCourse selected through a process described through any one of the following:
Scholars selected through National Eligibility TestCSIRUGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc.+2 yrs of research Experience.
Preferable requirements:
Candidates should have expertise in NanoScience, Nanotechnology, Nanobiology, Nanoelectronics and hands-on experience in Nano-fabrication and characterization (such as AFM, SEM, TEM, XRD, Electro-Spinning Device, Materials Printing System, Laser Micro-machining, WireBonding, Double Sided Mask Aligner, Thermal/E–Beam Evaporation, RF Magnetron Sputtering Unit, Oxidation/ Diffusion Furnaces Reactive Ion Etching, FESEM-EBL, Mask Writer, Raman, IR, Cryogenic DC Probe Station and Pulse parametric Analyzer).
For Project Engineer:
Candidates should have a PhD degree Or Master`s degree in Engineering +3 yrs exp. Or
Candidates should have a Bachelor`s degree in Engineering plus 6 yrs experience.
Desirable experience:

Administration and general implementation of the project along with report writing, operation and maintenance of High-end micro/nanofabrication & Characterization facilities, Health-Care, Energy and POCT devices.
