Post Name and Vacancies for IIT Indore Recruitment 2023:

IIT Indore has opened 16 vacancies (UR-15, OBC-NCL-01) for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade I and II) in various academic Departments, Centres and Schools such as Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering, Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and School of Humanities and Social Sciences, according to the official notification of IIT Indore Recruitment 2023.

Remuneration for IIT Indore Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of IIT Indore  the pay structure for various positions, as per the 7th CPC, are as follows:

For Assistant Professor Grade I-

• The candidate will get a monthly salary on pay level 12 Rs. 176972 plus HRA.

For Assistant Professor Grade II-

• The candidate will get a monthly salary on pay level 10 Rs. 126788 plus HRA.

Age Limit for IIT Indore Recruitment 2023:

•  The upper age limit for the candidate should be 35 years old.

For Assistant Professor Grade II-

Minimum Qualifications for IIT Indore Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of IIT Indore Recruitment 2023, the minimum qualification is listed below.

For Assistant Professor Grade I-

• The candidates should have a PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• The candidate must have atleast 3 years of industrial/ research/ teaching experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing a PhD.

For Assistant Professor Grade II-

• The candidate must hold a PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.

Selection Procedure for IIT Indore Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of IIT Indore Recruitment 2023, the short-listed candidate will be called for the interview. The interview will be through video conferencing and no reimbursement for such applicants will be made.
