IITM Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of IITM Research Associate and Research Fellow. As mentioned in the official notification of IITM Recruitment 2023, there are 22 vacancies for the mentioned opportunities of which 12 vacancies are for Research Associate and 10 vacancies for Research Fellow. The educational qualification is different for each position. The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned positions is 28 years and 35 years. The candidates selected for the post of Research Associate will get a monthly salary of Rs.47000 and the candidates selected for the post of Research Fellow will get a monthly salary of Rs.31000. Upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for women/ SC/ ST/ PWBD Candidates and 03 years for OBC Candidates.
According to the official notification of IITM Recruitment 2023, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examinations or Interviews conducted by the committee. The final selection will be totally based on the Interview. Research Fellow:
The candidates should have Post Graduate degree in Physical Sciences [includes Physics, Applied Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Meteorology, Oceanography, Climate Science, Geophysics with Meteorology as one of the subjects/ Environmental Sciences/ Electronics or equivalent subjects] / Chemical Sciences [includes Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry or equivalent subjects] or M. Tech. in Atmospheric/ Oceanic Sciences or equivalent or Master’s degree from any branch of Engineering.
