The probe, which began in the afternoon, proceeded until late at night. The crews seized the paperwork, raw bills, and computer data available at the establishments. The establishment's owners and employees were also questioned. According to sources, large-scale GST evasion was discovered throughout the investigation. Around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, teams from the GST Intelligence and Income Tax Department arrived at Aggarwal Steel Corporation in Antia Tal, Jagdamba Steel Corporation in Sharda Hills Colony, and Meenakshi Rolling in front of Rani Lakshmibai Park. These teams had reached the establishments directly from Lucknow and Kanpur. The local officers of the department were not even aware of this. Teams along with the local police started the investigation. The mobile phones of all the people present in the establishments were confiscated. Following this, officers in the teams took possession of the bill vouchers available on the premises. In addition, they obtained the data stored on the computer.
