Income Tax Recruitment 2023: Check Posts, Qualification, Other Vital Details
Income Tax Recruitment 2023: The Income Tax Department is inviting applications from meritorious sportspersons in the field of Basketball, Football and Athletics for the post of Tax Assistant, Stenographer, Havaldar and Canteen Attendant. As per the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 notification, there are total 08 vacancies. The minimum age required for applying for these posts is 18 years.
Selected candidates will get monthly salaries on pay scale levels 4 and 1. Candidates will be selected through a practical/field test followed by a written test. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned below have to send their applications through the proper channel. As per official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2023 the last date for accepting the application form is 15.02.2023.

Tax Assistant- 1
Stenographer- 1
Havaldar- 5
Canteen Attendant- 1
Income Tax Recruitment 2023:
Post-wise qualifications are given below for Income tax Recruitment 2023;
Tax Assistant
Candidates applying for the post of Tax Assistant should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent and the candidate should Possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
Stenographer
Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer should have a 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Candidate should have 10 Minutes @ the speed of 80 words per Minute, Transcription:- 50 Minutes (English) & 65 Minutes (Hindi):- (on Computer)
Havaldar
Candidates applying for the post of Havaldar should have Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.
Canteen Attendant
Candidates applying for the post of Canteen Attendant should have Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.
The minimum age limit for applying for these posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit for all the posts except the Canteen attendant is 27 years, and for the post of canteen attendant, the maximum age limit is 25 years.
Applicant should have represented the country in an international competition/ state in a senior national competition/university in an interuniversity competition/state in Jr./ youth national competition.
Salary for Income Tax Recruitment 2023 is given below:
Selected candidates for the post of Tax Assistant and Stenographer will get a monthly salary on Pay Scale Level 4 (Rs. 25500-81100).
Selected candidates for the Havaldar and Canteen Attendant post will get a monthly salary on Pay Scale Level 1 (Rs. 18000-56900).
Candidates will be selected through a practical/field test in their relevant sports. Candidates who qualify for the field test must appear for a written test.
