Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023: Indian Air Force is inviting applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection test from 20 May 2023 onwards to join the IAF as an Agniveervayu. As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, the candidate born between 26 December 2002 and 26 June 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit is 21 years. According to the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, the candidate will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under Air Force Act 1950, for a period of 4 years. The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 40000 as given in the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Exam, CASB, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), PHYSICAL Measurement Test(PMT), Adaptability Test-I and II, Document Verification and Medical Test. In accordance with the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, eligible candidates can apply online. Candidates have to pay Rs. 250 as the application fee.
In accordance with the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, applications are invited from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection test from 20 May 2023 onwards to join the IAF as an Agniveervayu.
As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, the candidate born between 26 December 2002 and 26 June 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as of the date of enrolment should be 21 years.
As given in the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, candidates must have the given below qualifications-
Science Subjects-
Candidates should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science /Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
Passed Two years of Vocational courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards / Councils that are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the vocational course).
Other than Science Subjects-
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Passed two years’ vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE members with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course
In accordance with the official notification of Indian Air Force recruitment 2023, the candidate enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules.
