JSSC Recruitment 2023: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates for Jharkhand Post Graduate Trained Teacher Competitive Examination (PGTTCE)-2023 for Regular and Backlog Post Graduate Teacher Posts vide the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 22.03.202 issued for the purpose. As notified in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for PGTTCE 2023, there are 3120 (2855 Plus 265) Vacancies against Notified Posts Graduate Teachers with Trained Graduate Teachers in Multiple Subjects under Regular and Backlog Recruitment 2023 Drive.

As per the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for JSSC PGTTCE-2023 for Regular (Direct Recruitment) and Backlog Recruitment under in the Pay Matrix Level 08 (Rs.47600 to 151100), the Last Date for Eligible Candidates with Willingness to complete the Online Registration Process up to 4th April 2023 (04.04.2023). As is also notified in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Recruitment Notification, Post Online Application and Registration Process completion, the Last Date for Online Application Printout begins from 06.05.2023 with the End Date terminating on 08.05.2023. The Candidates may carry out the Rectifications in the Online Applications from 10.05.2023 to 12.05.2023.

Upper Age Limits for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits according to the Dates for Open Merit/General Merit Candidates is as follows:

I) Un-Reserved Candidate should be Minimum 21 Years (As on 01.01.2023) and Maximum 40 Years (As on 01.08.2019).

II) EWS Candidate should be Minimum 21 Years (As on 01.01.2023) and Maximum 40 Years

Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as per Government Rule.

Eligibility for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility Criteria including Educational Qualifications as well as Sports Achievements in accordance with the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for PGTTCE (Post Graduate Trained Teacher Competitive Examination) 2023 are explained hereunder:

The Candidates should have in possession

I) A Post-Graduate/Master’s Degree with Minimum 50% Marks in the Teaching Subject in +2 Level in the State Government Schools with Bachelor of Education Degree from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) from any Accredited University narrated in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. (OR)

II) A Post-Graduate/Master’s Degree with Minimum 50% Marks in the Teaching Subject in +2 Level in the State Government Schools with Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Education (B.A./B.Sc. Ed.) Degree from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) from any Accredited University narrated in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. (OR)

III) A Post-Graduate/Master’s Degree with Minimum 55% Marks in the Teaching Subject in +2 Level in the State Government Schools AND 03-Years’ Integrated Bachelor of Education/Master of Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) Degree from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) from any Accredited University narrated in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

Sports Achievements in respect of Meritorious Sportsmanship:

01: “Medal” in the International Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation organized Sports Event;

02: “1st Position” in the Indian Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation held National Championship Level Competition

03: “World Record” in the National Level Competition

Selection Criteria under JSSC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Process for PGTTCE 2023 shall comprise One Single Paper to be held in a Computer Based Recruitment Test for 400 Marks. The Single Main Examination consisting of 02 Papers with 03 Hours’ Examination Duration for each Paper shall be as explained hereunder:

Paper I: General Knowledge and Hindi Language: (100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions) = 100 Marks

Paper II: Subject-Related Test Paper: (150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions) = 300 Marks

There shall be No Negative Marks for Incorrect Answers/Multiple Papers. In order to be considered for the Selection Process, General (Un-Reserved) Category Candidates should obtain Minimum 33% Pass Marks in Paper-I and Minimum Qualifying 50% Marks.

Final Selection for PGTTCE shall be on Merit determined taking into account the Marks scored in the Main Examination Paper. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission would prepare a Common Merit List and Merit-cum-Option List.

Examination Fee for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Examination Fee Amounts to be remitted Online through the Payment Gateway are as follows:

I) Un-Reserved Category Candidate: Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred) only.

II) Jharkhand State SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty) only
