The exam is conducted by the Indian Army and is part of the Agnipath recruitment scheme. The Agniveer 2025 recruitment examination was for various posts such as General Duty, Technical, Tradesman, Nursing Assistant, and Sepoy Pharma to fill a total of 25,000 vacancies in the Indian Army. The exam was conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odia, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi and Assamese.
