Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the above posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit should be between 25 years to 30 years.

Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Store Keeper Grade II

Candidate should have a 12th Pass from a recognized Board or University.

Engine Driver

• Candidate should have a Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized Boards.
• Candidate should have a Certificate of competency as an Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent. Desirable:

Motor Transport Driver

• Candidate should have 10th Standard pass.
• Candidate should possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light Motor Vehicles.

Carpenter

• Candidate should have Matriculation or equivalent
• Candidate should have qualified for a trade entrance examination.
• Candidate should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized/reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprenticeship Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship Scheme.

Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon)

Candidate should have Matriculation or equivalent pass.

Lascar 1st Class

Candidate should have Matriculation or equivalent pass.

Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper)

Candidate should have Matriculation or equivalent pass.

Store Keeper Grade II

Candidate should have  One year’s experience in handling Stores from any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.

Engine Driver

Candidate should have at least two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boats Horse Power

Motor Transport Driver

Candidate should have at least two years experience in driving Motor Vehicles, (v) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

Carpenter

• Candidate should have completed a training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have 1 year of trade experience.
  OR
• Candidate should have 04 years of experience in the trade for which no training is available in the Industrial Training Institute or other recognized Institutions.

Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon)

The candidate should have 02 years of experience as Office Attendant.

Lascar 1st Class

Candidate should have 03 years of service on a Ship or Craft.

Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper)

Candidate should have 02 years of experience in a clean ship in any recognized firm.

Pay Scale for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:
