Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications are given below-

For Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)-

• Candidate should have a 10th pass from a recognised Board and should possess a valid Driving License for both Heavy and Light Motor Vehicles.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Motor mechanisms (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

For Sheet Metal Worker (Skilled)-

• 10th pass or equivalent with Apprenticeship from a recognised /reputed Workshop in the relevant trade (Sheet Metal Worker) under Apprentice Act, 1961 recognised or under any other Apprenticeship Scheme.
• Candidates should qualify for a trade entrance examination.

For Multi Tasking Staff (Motor Transport Cleaner, Sweeper, Chowkidar)-

• Candidate should have Matriculation or equivalent pass.

For Unskilled Labour-

• Candidate should have a Matriculation pass or its equivalent from a recognised board or ITI from a recognised institution.

Experience for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the required experiences of the candidates are mentioned below:

For Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)-

• Candidate should have 02 years experience of in driving.

For Sheet Metal Worker (Skilled)-

• Candidate should have 04 years of experience in the trade for which no training is available in the ITI or other recognised Institutions.

For Multi-Tasking Staff (Motor Transport Cleaner)-

• The candidate should have 02 years of experience in a mechanical workshop.

For Multi-Tasking Staff (Sweeper)-

• Candidate should have 02 years of experience in clanship in any recognised firm.

For Multi-Tasking Staff ( Chowkidar) )-

• Candidate should have 02 years of experience as Chowkidar in any recognised institution.

For Unskilled Labour-

• Candidate should have 03 years of experience in the trade.

Age Limitation for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s upper age limit should be between 18 to 27 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.

Pay Scale for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Civilian Motor Transport Driver, Sheet Metal Worker will be paid a monthly pay scale Level 02 Rs.19900 to Rs.63200 and the selected candidates for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (Motor Transport Cleaner, Sweeper, Chowkidar and Unskilled Labour) will get a monthly pay scale Level 01 Rs.18000 to Rs.56900.

Place of Posting for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be posted in Chennai, Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam and further service liability will be all India including Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Selection Procedure for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

All the selected candidates will get the call letters issued to the shortlisted candidate for document verification and appearance in the written examination.
