Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: The Indian Coast Guard is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Engine Driver, Lascar, Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) Group ‘C’, Non-Gazzetted Non-Ministerial, MTS (Mali), and MTS (Peon). As described in the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate’s upper age restriction should be between 18 and 30 years old as of the application deadline. The upper age restriction might be relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST applicants and 03 years for OBC candidates. There are currently 9 Vacancies for the above-mentioned position. The previously stated positions are provisional and subject to change. If chosen, applicants will be required to serve anywhere in India. As described in the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates selected for employment are subject to initial assignment to any unit/establishment within the Coast Guard Region (North West), with all-India transfer liability. For Engine Driver
The candidate must have a 10th-grade diploma from a certified board and a valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Candidate should have two years of service as Sarang on a vessel of over four Hundred Boats Horse Power.
For Lascar
The candidates should have a matriculation pass or its equivalent from a recognised board with three years of experience in service on a ship or craft.
For Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) Group ‘C’
The candidate must have a 10th-grade diploma with possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles. He/she should have at least two-year experience in driving a motor vehicle.
