Indian Railways Recruitment 2023: Indian Railways is inviting interested and eligible candidates for training in Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway as Act Apprentices in Various Trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time. As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Railways Recruitment 2023, there are 3115 vacancies available for the mentioned position. The number of slots indicated in this notification is provisional and may increase, decrease or even become nil depending upon the actual needs of the railway administration. The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates. The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in the aggregate, from the recognized Board and should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT. The candidates finally engaged will be provided Stipends at the prescribed rate as per extant provisions.
