Intel is hiring for an experienced CAD Engineer at their Bangalore location.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Develop and apply computer-aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems.
• Assessing architecture and hardware limitations plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software.
• Define and select new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters.
• Develop routines and utility programs.
• Prepare design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval.
• May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Ability to communicate effectively with various technical groups and to coordinate activities amongst those groups
• Ability to act as ambassador for new technologies and actively engage with global cross site teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently prioritize manage risks evaluate tradeoffs make quick decisions and communicate project status
• Interfacing with multiple customers understanding their requirements setting expectations and delivering on commitments
• Analytical problem solving team oriented and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Eligibility:

• Tech MS degree in Computer Science Electronics Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related disciplines with 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with logic RTL design using Verilog System
• Verilog Experience with ASIC verification tools such as VCS logic simulator
• Experience across all Front End domains Simulation formal property verification validation
• Emulation Knowledge of Linux Unix and Windows based SW development environments tools
• Experience with Perl Python Shell scripting
