IOB Recruitment 2022: Indian Overseas Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank with headquarters in Chennai has invited online applications from qualified and experienced IT professionals for recruitment against 25 Vacancies for Specialist Officers for the various posts in Information Technology and Digital Banking in MMG Scale II. The selected candidates will be placed in Chennai or Hyderabad initially. The selected candidate will be placed in the Pay Scale MMGS II – 48,170 – 1,740 / 1 – 49,910 – 1,990 / 10 – 69,810.

The required Minimum Age to apply for all the posts is 25 and the Maximum Age is 30 for all posts as on 01.11.2022. The candidates must apply for ONE POST ONLY, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Posting Location for IOB Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidates will be placed in Chennai or Hyderabad initially. However, they are liable to be transferred/ posted, at the sole discretion of the Bank and as per its exigencies, at any of the Bank’s Branches/ Offices, anywhere in India from time to time and on such terms and
conditions as may be decided by the Bank.

Age-Limit for IOB Recruitment 2022:

The required Minimum Age to apply for all the posts is 25 and the Maximum Age is 30 for all posts as on 01.11.2022. Relaxation at maximum age for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD/ Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Government Guidelines.

Qualifications for IOB Recruitment 2022:

1. Manager – Business Analyst

Full-time B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Communications/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering AND

Full-Time M.B.A. (any specialization)

Full-Time Master’s in Business Analytics will be preferred Minimum of 60% marks in both B.E./ B. Tech and M.B.A.

2. Manager – Data Engineer

Full-Time B.E./ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communications/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering OR Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science/ Machine Learning and AI with a minimum of 60% marks

Experience for IOB Recruitment 2022:

1. Manager – Business Analyst

Minimum 3 years of Experience in business analytics and strategic planning & Proficiency in Actionable Insights Generatio & Ability to work in challenging & demanding timelines

Banking domain knowledge is a must & Out of 3 years of experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience in working on different visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI/ GDS

Should have worked on different banking analytics use cases like portfolio deep dive, time series analysis, decision trees, etc.

Analytical thinker with strong problem-structuring and solving abilities & Expertise in tracking and measuring campaign success

Complete expertise in breaking any problem with components that can be collaboratively solved & Data-driven decision-making and communicating the same to the stakeholders

Should have worked on huge data sets with the ability to churn down for meaningful analysis & Experience in analytics companies is preferred.

2. Manager – Data Engineer

Minimum 3 years of experience in building and supporting Data Warehouse and Data marts structures & Worked on building Data warehouse and Data Lake

Experience in the creation and deployment of scalable data pipelines for analytical needs & Strong analytical thinking to tackle challenging engineering problems

Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles & Experience in Database/ ETL Performance Tuning Skills and Airflows

Experience in MDM and data governance & Experience in Hadoop & Expertise in data architecture and data roadmap journey

Proficiency in how data is sourced, processed, organized, and used by designing instrumentation specs to capture the logging of new product features in easy-to-use, scalable data structures.

MMGS II – 48,170 – 1,740 / 1 – 49,910 – 1,990 / 10 – 69,810.

Probation Period for IOB Recruitment 2022:

Candidates selected will be on probation for a period of 2 years (active service) from the date of joining the Bank. Their confirmation in Bank’s service will be as determined by the Bank in terms of Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR).

Selection Process for IOB Recruitment 2022:

Selection will be made based on an Online Examination followed by an Interview. Candidates qualifying in the Online Examination would be called for personal Interviews. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for Online Examination or Interview.

Application Fees for IOB Recruitment 2022:

SC/ST/PWD (Only Intimation charges) –  INR 100.00 (Rupees One Hundred Only).

For all others (Including OBC & EWS)  – INR 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred Only).
