IOCL is seeking applications from qualified applicants to fill up vacancies for the Apprenticeship Training in various regions. For the mentioned apprenticeship training, there are 473 vacant seats.

Age Limit for IOCL Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of IOCL Recruitment 2024, the age limit is given below-

• Candidates should not be less than 18 years.
• Candidates should not be more than 24 years.

Salary for IOCL Recruitment 2024:

The chosen applicant for IOCL Recruitment 2024 will get a monthly stipend as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation‟s guidelines.

Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the given below qualification to apply for IOCL Recruitment 2024.

For Technician Apprentice Mechanical-

• Candidates must have 03 years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering discipline of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute/ University.

For Technician Apprentice Electrical-

• Candidates must have Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute/ University.

For Technician Apprentice Telecommunication and Instrumentation

• Candidates must have 03 years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering or Electronics Engineering disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute/ University.

For Trade Apprentice (Assistant Human Resource)-

• Candidates must have Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) from a Govt. recognized institute/University.

For Trade Apprentice (Accountant)-

• Candidates must have Full full-time bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Govt. recognized institute/University.

For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)-

• Candidates must be class 12th pass (but below graduate).

For Domestic Data Entry Operators (Skill Certificate Holders)-

• Candidates must be 12th pass (but below Graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess a Skill Certificate of „Domestic Data Entry Operator‟ for the training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt.

Tenure for IOCL Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidate for IOCL Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a period of 12 months.

Selection Procedure for IOCL Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of IOCL Recruitment 2024, candidates will be selected on the basis of written test. The written test will be conducted for 02 hours.

The scheme of exam is given below-

For Technician Apprentices and For Trade Apprentice (Accountant)-

• Objective type questions- 100
• Questions shall be from the concerned discipline of Diploma level and about 25 questions on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge etc- 75

For Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource)- 

• Objective type questions based on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge/awareness etc- 100

For Data Entry Operator& Domestic Data Entry Operator-

• Objective type questions based on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge/awareness etc. of Class 12 level- 100
