Age Limit for IRCTC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of IRCTC Recruitment 2023, candidates should be the age of 28 years. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ Ex-Serviceman applicants as per Government guidelines. The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, by 3 years for OBC applicants and by 10 years for PwBD applicants. Ex-Service Men – Up to the extent of service rendered in defence plus 3 yrs.

Qualification and Experience for IRCTC Recruitment 2023:

For Hospitality Monitors-

• Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/ PIHM) affiliated to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)/ UGC/AICTE/ Government of India.
• BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism.
• B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from the government-recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government.
• M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government recognized Universities affiliated UGC/AICTE/ Government of India/State Government.

Experience-

• Candidates with a minimum of 02 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field will only be eligible to apply.

For Tourism Monitors-

• 3 Years Bachelor’s degree in Tourism. Or
• 3 years bachelor degree in any stream + 1 year diploma in Travel & Tourism.
• 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in any stream + 2 years
• Post Graduation Degree/Diploma in Travel & Tourism.

Experience-

• Minimum 01-year post qualification work experience in Tour Operation/Travel Agency Firms.
• Minimum 02 years post qualification work experience in Tour Operation / Travel Agency Firms.

Salary for IRCTC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of IRCTC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Tourism Monitors will be paid a monthly salary between Rs.30000 to Rs.35000 and for the post of Hospitality Monitors will be paid a monthly CTC of Rs.30000. The candidates will get a daily allowance of Rs.350/- per day for on-duty on-board in train (s) (100% for more than 12 hours,70% for 6 to 12hours, and 30% and less than 6 hours), Lodging charges of Rs.240 only if night stay is involved at the outstation, Medical Insurance of Rs.800.

Tenure for IRCTC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of IRCTC Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract basis. The selected candidates for the post of Hospitality Monitors will be engaged for a period of 02 years and for the post of Tourism Monitors will be engaged for a period of 03 years. The selected candidates may be posted in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan. However, candidates may be deployed/posted anywhere in India at the discretion of IRCTC.

Selection Process for IRCTC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of IRCTC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview. The candidates will go through an interview and be shortlisted based on their qualifications and performance. Following the verification of antecedents, the offer of employment will be extended to the qualified candidates in the order of merit and depending on the available positions.

Candidates are required to carry the relevant documents for appearing in the interview. The walk-in interview will be held between 11.07.2023 to 19.07.2023 from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM at mentioned venue. Latecomers are not allowed for appearing the interview.
