IT Department raids on leading Jeweller in Karnataka; Showrooms searched Officials from the Income Tax department raided the showrooms of a prominent jewellers of Karnataka on Tuesday. According to official sources, the jeweller's multiple showrooms in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, and Udupi were all being searched. The sources further stated that the searches, which started concurrently in the wee hours of the day, are still ongoing. Officials from the Income Tax Department could not be reached for comment.
