IT Department's Officials raids on 3 Builders in Pimpri The Income Tax Department raided the homes and offices of three builders in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Thursday. At six o'clock in the morning, a team from the income tax department arrived. The staff worked till late at night going over the materials. In the morning, five trucks carrying Income Tax Department officers arrived at the home of a builder in Pimpri camp. Officers searched the residence and launched an investigation. At the same time, some authorities arrived to the builder's office. Verification of office paperwork, including residency, began. No one was permitted to enter the house. Police were also deployed. The operation continued till late in the evening. Could not understand the official information regarding which case the Income Tax Department is investigating. The income tax authority is also said to have raided the builders in Wakad and Kiwale. As the Income Tax department raided three builders in the city on the same day and simultaneously, causing widespread panic among builders. This raid was also highly debated inside the municipal construction department.
