Qualification and Experience for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

For Professor of Anaesthesiology-

• A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience-

• Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology-

• Same as the Professor of Anaesthesiology.

Experience-

• Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology (Cardiac Anaesthesiology)-

• A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• D.M. Cardiac Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience-

• D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (Three years) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto (no experience required) (or) D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (two years or five years recognized course after MBBS) with one-year teaching and/or research experience in recognized institutions/universities in the subject of specialty after obtaining D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (two years or five years course).

For Professor of Anatomy-

Medical Essential qualifications-

• A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D./M.S. in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Experience: Fourteen years’ teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical Essential Qualifications-

• A postgraduate qualification i.e., Master’s degree in Medical Anatomy from a recognized. university/institution.
• Ph.D. degree from a recognized university/institution.

Experience-

• Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in the concerned discipline/ subject in recognized institutions/universities after obtaining the Ph.D. degree.

For Assistant Professor of Anatomy-

Medical Essential qualifications-

• Same as Professor of Anatomy (Medical).

Experience-

• Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anatomy after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Non-Medical Essential Qualifications-

• Same as Professor (Non-Medical).

Experience-

• Three years of teaching and/or research experience in the concerned discipline/ subject in recognized institutions/universities after obtaining the Ph.D. degree.

Salary for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Professor will get a monthly salary on Level 14-A (Rs.168900-Rs.220400) and the selected candidates for the post of Assistant Professor will get a monthly salary on Level 12 (Rs.101500-Rs.167400).

Selection Process for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a personal interview/online video conferencing. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The decision of the competent authority at JIPMER will be final. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
