ICMR Recruitment 2023: The Office of Assistant Director General (Administration), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research (DoHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India has invited Online Applications from Experienced Professionals with Eligibility for 02 Posts Scientist ‘F’ (Non-Medical) AND Scientist-F (Medical) for Recruitment on a Regular Basis vide the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. The ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement for Notified Scientist ‘F’ (Non-Medical) AND Scientist-F (Medical) Posts has occurred with 02 Vacancies (i.e., 01 Vacancy for each Post) shall be filled up in the Pay Matrix Level 13A (Rs.131100-216600) based on the Direct Recruitment Basis. According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Both Notified Posts Scientist ‘F’ (Non-Medical) AND Scientist-F (Medical) with Appointments in the ICMR Head Quarters in New Delhi, however, coinciding with the All-India Service Liability (AISL). Based on the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice, the Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Process Before Or On Up to 18.08.2023.

According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Memorandum, Post-Selection, the Candidates selected for the Scientist-F (Non-Medical) Scientist-F (Medical) shall be Entitled to the Monthly Pay Matrix Level, as explained hereunder:

Based on the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Applicants should be aged for the Posts, as follows:
Age Limit: Not exceeding 52 Years

01: Scientist ‘F’ (Non-Medical):
Essential Qualification(s) and Mandatory Experience:
Education: A Master’s Degree with Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in any of the Subjects (per Annexure-I) Or in Mathematics, Physics/Biophysics, Computer Science, Data Science Or Computer Engineering; With
Experience: 12-Years’ Experience in Research & Development (Including 03 Years’ Managerial Experience) Including “Experience in Disease Modelling and Forecasting” in Government/Public Sector/Private Institutions.
02: Scientist ‘F’ (Medical): 01 Vacancy
Essential Qualification(s) and Mandatory Experience:
Education: A Master’s Degree with Medicinae Doctorate (MD)/Magister de Science/Master of Science (MS) Accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC) in any Clinical Or Para-Clinical Subject; With
Experience: 12-Years’ Experience in Research & Development (Including 03 Years’ Managerial Experience) Including “Experience in Stem Cell Research/Regenerative Medicine” in Government/Public Sector/Private Institutions.
The Selection Methodology for Both Posts Scientist ‘F’ (Non-Medical) and Scientist ‘F’ (Medical), in compliance with the ICMR Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement has underlined the Shortlisting counting on Multiple Parameters explained in the following lines.
i) In the First Instance, all the Applicants deemed to have fulfilled the Minimum Eligibility in respect of Age, Educational Qualifications and Experience (wherever Essential) shall be shortlisted.
ii) In case the Number of Such Shortlisted Candidates happened to be High and it would not be possible to call in all of them for Personal Interviews, then the ICMR shall likely further Shortlist the Candidates, on the bases of some Suitable Shortlisting Criteria, as may be fixed by the Competent Authority, Indian Council of Medical Research. Although this may vary from case to case, depending on Merits. The Indian Council of Medical Research usually/generally prefers to call the Candidates with Higher Experience in the Relevant Fields or Candidates with Higher Educational Qualifications, as the case may be and as decided by the Appointing Authority.

I) Un-Reserved/General Category Candidates: Rs. 1500.00 (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred) only.
