Overview:

LSEG is hiring an experienced FX On-Boarding Specialist at their Bangalore location. The FX Onboarding team is responsible for certification (conformance testing) and onboarding of FIX, HTTPs, SFTP, quick connect clients on transactions platform across asset class. The FX Onboarding team works closely with Sales and Account management teams, Professional Services, Product Dev, Support teams to understand bespoke business workflows and translate them into a software solution. The role on a day-to-day basis also involves a lot of external communication with tech teams of clients/brokers and their technology vendors. The team also gets involved in various strategic projects ranging from roll out of new functionalities on the platform, system improvements, regulatory changes etc. To provide last level support to internal stakeholders and 3rd party engineers about The Company products, and to interact with customers to resolve complex issues. The role leverages innovative technologies to ensure global consistency of support tasks.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Integrating with new brokers and clients for FIX HTTPs, SFTP, quick connect workflows is the primary responsibility of the team.
• Closely with the client and/or their OMS/EMS vendors to get them connected and integrated with our platform
• Onboarding new clients and facilitating new connections for existing clients
• Onboarding new publishers and receivers
• Liaising with clients and internal groups to handle new client integration requirements
• Troubleshooting production issues and supporting existing systems
• Working closely with many internal teams including, Sales and Account Management, Relationship management, front line service desk, field service, development, operations, Technology and Product Management
• Good understanding of roles of relevant functional groups in own area
• Suggests process improvement following investigative, analytic, or diagnostic services
• Manage up to 10 client implementations at one time.

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Exposure to any programming language (C, C++, Java)
• Knowledge on Unix
• Knowledge on SQL/Database
• Experience with trading electronic systems, technical infrastructures, and workflows
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol/onboarding and certification (conformance testing)
• Exposure to OMS/EMS products and electronic trading domain

Eligibility:

•  BE/B.Tech, MCA from any premier institution in Computer Science/Electronics or any IT related stream with exposure to programming
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Worked in professional and client focused environments where detailed process/procedures are followed
• Flexible to work in multi time zones on a rotational shift basis. (Bangalore /EMEA/US hours)
