Overview:

PhonePe is hiring an experienced Operations Analyst – Insurance at their Bangalore location. You will be responsible for managing the Catalog Master data segment. This role entails extensive data and operations responsibilities, requiring daily large-scale data management, meticulous attention to detail, and a data quality checker/analyst perspective to spot data inconsistencies.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of data related to Vehicles
• Identify and resolve missing data sets and any mismatches that exist in the database and to start with manually mapping, checking and course-correcting the rows/columns
• Should be able to set up processes and checkpoints with regard to hygiene and maintenance of real-time data processing
• Should be able to communicate effectively with related stakeholders on the identified discrepancies and course of action to be followed to ensure data consistency/correctness
• Minimize errors in the database due to non-covered data points and proactively share insights/observations
• Should be able to adopt and apply real-time changes happening in the dataset and curate SOP to ensure smooth adoption of the changes
• Working closely with the Tech/Engineering team to provide timely feedback on improvements and possible automation in the process
• Coordinate with channel partners/insurers/providers/third parties to drive up the master coverage and ensure accuracy in the search results

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Automobile background is a plus)
• 1-2 years of experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with heavy datasets/database and plan to automate manual tasks
• Excellent communication skills to sync up with stakeholders
• Handled Databases/Cataloguing/MIS earlier pertaining to vehicle Models or any sector
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Should be a go-getter and ready to get their hands dirty

Must have:

• Keen interest and experience in Vehicle variants, Insurance Catalog/Masters directories etc.
• Previous experience working in the automobile industry specifically make- model- variants databases in the Indian markets
• Hands-on Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Database softwares if any
• Keen interest in understanding how the integration of vehicle models, registration numbers, and quote pricing works in the insurance industry
• Interested about updates in the Automobiles industry and new launches and specifications
• Quality analysis/ Quality check/ Data audit experience would be a plus
