Jubilant FoodWorks received a Rs 46.91 crore GST show-cause notice over an alleged ITC reporting error but said the issue is only a classification matter with no financial impact and expects the demand to be dropped.

Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, the operator of Domino's Pizza in India, has informed the stock exchanges that it has received a GST show-cause notice from the GST department proposing a tax demand of Rs 46,90,96,051.
According to the notice, the GST department claims that the company reported the reversal of Input Tax Credit (ITC) in the wrong table while filing its GST returns for FY 2026-27.
The company said the issue is related to the presentation/classification of the ITC reversal and does not have any financial impact on its business.
Jubilant FoodWorks added that it believes the notice does not properly consider the explanations already submitted. The company is preparing a detailed response with supporting documents within the prescribed timeline and expects the proposed GST demand to be dropped.
The company also stated that it does not expect any material financial implications from the matter at this stage.
