The chosen candidates for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023 will be engaged for a probation period of 01 year and on satisfactory completion of the probationary period, they will be confirmed, subject to the rules and regulations of the bank. The place of posting will be Technology and Digital Hub, Bengaluru and also liable to be transferred to any other department or office of the bank according to the administrative requirements of the bank.

Qualification and Experience for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to Karnataka Recruitment 2023 as described below-

For System Administrator-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA
• Relevant Certifications in respective OS or cloud (Certified in Red Hat, Microsoft, AWS/Azure/OCI, or other related certifications).

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a System administrator.
• The candidate should have experience in administrating Windows / Linux (All flavours, preferably RHEL or Ubuntu) / CentOS / OELinux, and Solaris systems.

For Network Administrator-

• The candidate should be a graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA.
• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, and Cloud Network Engineer.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a network administrator role.
• The candidate should have experience with Routers, Switches, firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

For Middleware Administrator-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA
• Relevant Certifications like MCSE, OCPM, IBM-certified system administration, JBoss Middleware Administration, and AWS Cloud Administration.

Experience-

• A minimum of 2 years of Experience in administrating managing, and fine-tuning WebSphere (WAS ), Web logic, Apache tomcat, Apache Web server, nginx, JBoss, etc.

For Full-Stack Developer-

• The candidate should be a graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA with relevant certifications.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Application /API development in technologies like Java, NodeJS, Angular JS, Ionic, Native and Hybrid Android, iOS, React JS, JSP, Javascript, Typescript, Apache Kafka etc
• The candidate should have knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Angular, React JS ).
• The candidate should have knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Node JS, Python).

For Database Administrator-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA
• Relevant Certifications like Oracle Certified Professional, Certified Data Professional, MSSQL-certified, and Certified PostgreSQL DBA.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database administrator.
• The candidate should be Proficient in a minimum of any 2 databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Maria DB, MongoDB, GraphDB, Postgres, Casandra, etc.

For Cloud Security Engineer/Architect-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA.
• Relevant Certifications in Cloud (Certified in AWS Security/Solutions Architect and other leading cloud providers, such as Google and Azure certifications).

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer and Cloud Solutions Architect.
• The candidate should have expertise in Cloud Landing Zone
• The candidate should have experience in administrating Cloud Services
• The candidate should have knowledge of the understanding of Cloud Services and suggest tools/solutions required for the Bank.
• The candidate should have experience with Cloud EC2, IAM, Cloud Formation, VPC, Security Groups, S3, Cloud Routing etc with respect to AWS and other similar technologies.

For Application Security Engineer-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA
• Certifications like OSCP, CEH, SANS, and GWAPT.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Proven experience in application security role
• The candidate should have hands-on experience in penetration testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, VA tools etc.
• The candidate should have an understanding of the OWASP framework and help align the applications to the same.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing(DAST).
• The candidate should have an understanding of the DevSecOps Pipeline.
• The candidate should have a clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

For Firewall Administrator-

• The candidate should be a Graduate of BE, B.Tech, or MCA.
• Relevant certifications in Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco, other security solutions, CCNA or similar certification

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Firewall administrator.
• The candidate should have experience in Firewall installation/administration in Checkpoint/Cisco etc.
• The candidate should have knowledge of Networking and concepts of the OSI and TCP Models.
• The candidate should have experience in handling Firewall configuration management tools like Tufin and similar technologies.
• The candidate should have knowledge of Privilege Identity Management/TACACS/AAA solutions.
