Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023: Karnataka Bank is seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Chief Manager, Manager, Statistician, Economist, Risk Manager and IT expert in Oracle for OFSAA. As given in the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. There will be no allowance or reimbursement for attending the interview. The maximum age limit is 30 years to apply for the post of Manager and 35 years to apply for the rest of the other posts. The selected candidates will be employed for a period of 01 year on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.

In accordance with the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, there are 10 vacant seats available for the mentioned posts. The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary on a pay scale level-02,03 and 04. The selected candidates will be appointed and posted at the Bank’s Head office, Mangaluru and Bull Temple Road Office, Bengaluru. Age Limit for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, candidates should be the age of 30 years old to apply for the post of Manager and should be 35 years old to apply for the rest of the other posts.

Salary for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay scale levels 02,03 and 04.

Qualification and Experience for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below-

For Chief Manager-

  • Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 6-7 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking Sector.

For Manager (Financial Reporting)-

  • Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking Sector in the area of Financial Reporting and MIS.

For Manager (Tax)-

  • Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking Sector in the area of Compliance with Corporate Tax, TDS and GST-related Provisions.

For Manager (FP and A)-

  • The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking Sector in the area of Financial Planning and Analysis.

For Manager (Internal Control)-

  • Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking Sector.

For Statistician-

  • A Master’s degree or Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics & Informatics/ Applied Statistics & Informatics (2 Years duration-full time) from a university/ Institute recognized by the government of India or its regulatory bodies with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

Experience-

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in Banks/FIs /PSUs in the field of data handling/Data Science/ Data analysis/data interpretation/statistics.

Desirable-

  • Working knowledge of statistical software packages such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Stata, etc.,).

For Economist-

  • A Master’s degree or Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics (2 Years duration-full time) from a university/ Institute recognized by the government of India or its regulatory bodies with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

Experience-

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in Banks/FIs /PSUs as an economist or experience in the relevant field of economic research and analytics.

Desirable-

  • Experience in forecasting, analyzing business and economic indicators and building econometric models.

For Risk Manager –

  • A Master’s degree or Post-Graduate Degree in any discipline (2 Years duration-full time) from a university/ Institute recognized by the government of India or its regulatory bodies with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years AND Certified as PRM from PRMIA/ FRM from GARP.

Experience-

  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience in Risk Management in Banks/ NBFC / FIs.

Desirable-

  • Experience in the areas of risk modeling and model validation.

For IT expert in Oracle for OFSAA-

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate (equivalent CGPA Score) from a university/ Institute recognized by the government of India or its regulatory bodies.

Preference-

  • ISACA’s Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Experience-

  • Minimum experience of 5 years working with Oracle technologies.

Desirable-

  • Strong knowledge of OFSAA modules, such as Asset Liability Management, Balance Sheet Planning, Funds Transfer Pricing and Profitability Management.
  • Proficient in Oracle database management, SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.

Tenure for Karnataka Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be engaged for a probation period of 01 year upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, which will be confirmed, subject to the rules and regulations of the Bank. The place of posting will be at the Bank’s Head office, Mangaluru and Bull Temple Road Office, Bengaluru.

Selection Process for Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Karnataka Bank Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on an interview and personal interaction on the basis of eligibility, experience, qualification and performance during the interview/interaction.
