Karnataka PGCET Exam 2024: Karnataka PGCET Exam Postponed Due to University Exam; Check Revised Dates
Karnataka PGCET Exam 2024: The PGCET 2024 exam has been postponed till further notice by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The Karnataka PGCET 2024 examination, which was supposed to take place on 13th July and 14th July 2024, has been rescheduled. Aside from delaying the PGCET 2024 exam date, KEA has extended the registration period. Candidates have until 7th July to complete the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application form. Although there is still time to pay the PGCET application cost till 9th July.
The Karnataka Examination Authority is expected to release the updated dates for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam shortly. The examination has been rescheduled because it conflicts with several universities’ final semester exams.
A large number of candidates have applied to KEA to have the PGCET-2024 exam postponed from July 13 and 14, 2024, as certain universities will be starting their final semester exams on July 5 and 10, 2024. A note obtained by local media states, “KEA has postponed the PGCET-2024 exam, which was scheduled to be held on July 13 and 14, 2024. The revised dates will be published in due course on the KEA website.” The decision was made to safeguard the interests of the students.
For every course, students had to pay an examination fee of Rs.650. The PGCET 2024 admit card can only be downloaded by candidates who have successfully paid the exam fee. Typically, the Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card is made available ten days before the exam starts. Exam dates and an updated schedule with admit card availability will be issued soon.

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration window for MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, and M.Arch programs will reopen tomorrow, 26th June, according to KEA. Applications for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be accepted until 7th July at 11:59 p.m. The deadline for paying the registration fee for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 is 9th July at 6:00 p.m.
Applicants who fall under the General or Other Backward Classes (OBC) category must pay an application fee of Rs.650 for the Karnataka PGCET 2024. However, the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) applications for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 cost Rs.500. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 application cost can be paid online via net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
Karnataka PGCET 2024 will take place in a single shift. There will be a pen and paper exam format. The exam will be administered in English. The question paper for MBA and MCA candidates will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with a mark assigned to each answer. Within the Karnataka PGCET 2024 paper, there will be four components.
