Key Updates on desicion taken in 30th GST Council meeting

Major decisions made by the GST Council in it's30th GST Council meeting were as follows:

Discussion was held on1% Pan-India tax in case of commodities.
As per hon'able FMGST Tax collection is more than expected in case of North Eastern states.
There has beenno change in GST rate of any product.
No decision taken has been taken to bring Petrol & diesel under ambit of GST.
An analyst panel will be formed that will research over GST collection across states.
The proposal of the State of Kerala for imposition of Cess on SGST for rehabilitation and flood affected works was discussed in detail.The Council then decided to constitute a 7-Member Group of Ministers (GoM) to examine this issue in depth.
